Deborah’s Place

1. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging with any service, program, or entity under Deborah’s Place ("the Organization"), including but not limited to the Medical Training Center, Women’s Transitional Housing, and any other affiliated programs, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms and Conditions. These terms govern the use of our services, policies, and participant responsibilities.

2. Program Enrollment & Tuition

  • Enrollment in any paid program requires full or partial payment at the time of registration.

  • Tuition fees are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be credited toward future courses.

  • All tuition rates are subject to change at the discretion of the Organization.

  • The Organization reserves the right to refuse enrollment to any applicant who does not meet the necessary prerequisites.

3. Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • All tuition and fees are non-refundable once registration is complete.

  • No credits, refunds, or transfers will be issued for missed classes, incomplete coursework, or voluntary withdrawal.

  • In the event of program cancellation by the Organization, students will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another session.

4. Attendance & Participation

  • Participants in any training or housing program are expected to attend all scheduled sessions and actively participate.

  • Excessive absences or failure to meet program requirements may result in dismissal without a refund.

  • Make-up sessions may be offered at the discretion of the Organization and may incur additional fees.

5. Certification & Completion

  • Successful completion of a training program requires meeting all coursework, attendance, and assessment requirements.

  • Certifications or credentials will only be issued to individuals who fulfill all program obligations.

  • The Organization does not guarantee employment placement upon program completion.

6. Code of Conduct

  • All participants are expected to maintain professionalism, respect staff, instructors, and peers, and adhere to ethical guidelines within the Organization.

  • Any form of misconduct, including cheating, harassment, or disruptive behavior, may result in disciplinary action, up to and including expulsion.

  • The Organization reserves the right to remove individuals from any program or housing arrangement due to violations of this code of conduct without a refund.

7. Donations Policy

  • Donations made to Deborah’s Place are voluntary and non-refundable.

  • All contributions directly support our mission, including training programs and transitional housing for women in need.

  • We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and donations may be tax-deductible. Please consult with a tax professional for details.

8. Free Training Programs

  • Free training opportunities are available based on funding, eligibility, and availability.

  • Recipients of free training must comply with all course requirements, including attendance and coursework.

  • Failure to meet program obligations may result in removal from the course without re-enrollment privileges.

9. Women’s Transitional Housing

  • Deborah’s Place operates a transitional housing program for women seeking stability and career advancement.

  • Residents must comply with all community guidelines, including maintaining a commitment to education, career development, and personal growth.

  • Failure to adhere to house rules may result in removal from the program.

10. Liability & Disclaimers

  • The Organization is not liable for personal injuries, lost or stolen belongings, or any unforeseen circumstances that may arise during participation in our programs.

  • The Organization does not guarantee job placement upon completion of a program but may offer career guidance resources.

  • All educational materials and training content are for instructional purposes only and should not be considered professional or legal advice.

11. Privacy Policy

  • The Organization respects the privacy of its students, residents, and donors and does not share personal information with third parties except as required by law.

  • Records, including grades, certification details, and housing information, will be kept confidential in accordance with applicable regulations.

12. Changes to Terms & Conditions

  • The Organization reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

  • Any updates will be posted on the official website and will take immediate effect upon publication.
